MIASTOrozmowy – the right start to meaningful conversations
On Saturday, 13 grudnia, The first meeting of the new #MIASTOrozmowy series took place at Strefa Nowy Cegielski – an open space for conversations about the city and the everyday lives of its residents.
We discussed whether a city can be “happy” and what truly influences quality of life in everyday urban living – from public spaces and neighborly relationships to the pace of life and the city’s “human scale.
#MIASTOrozmowy is a new series of open debates created in collaboration with the @Faculty of Socio-Economic Geography and Spatial Management at Adam Mickiewicz University. Its aim is to build a meeting space for residents, researchers, practitioners, and all those engaged in urban matters – on equal terms and without barriers. Once a month, we will discuss how the city is changing, how we want to live in it, and what truly determines the quality of everyday life.

Nowy Cegielski Zone is now open!
Saturday, September 20, was a special day in Poznań’s Wilda district — for the first time, the former Hipolit Cegielski factory site opened its doors to residents in a new role: as a place for meetings, culture, and community activities.
@Zielony Bazar Cegielski officially opened its doors. Visitors could buy cheese, meat, fish, honey, fruit, vegetables, and much more — all directly from local producers. Important information: the market will be open every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- During the family Hapa Zome workshops organised by @Schron Kultury Europa and @Stowarzyszenie Zielona Grupa, participants created unique eco-friendly bags decorated with botanical prints.
- During the afternoon biodiversity workshops, participants could not only learn more about community gardens but also plant their own plants.
- We ended the evening with an open-air cinema screening and pizza shared together — all in a wonderful atmosphere with a true neighbourhood feel.
What matters most to us is what the visitors had to say. They are pleased that the former factory site is once again becoming part of the city and that they have a real say in how this space develops.

W sobotę, 13 grudnia, w Strefie Nowy Cegielski odbyło się pierwsze spotkanie z nowego cyklu #MIASTOrozmowy – otwartej przestrzeni do rozmów o mieście i codziennym życiu jego mieszkańców.
Bez wykładów i gotowych tez. Było krótkie wprowadzenie, moderowana dyskusja i otwarty mikrofon, z którego chętnie korzystali uczestnicy. Rozmawialiśmy o tym, czy miasto może być „szczęśliwe” i co tak naprawdę wpływa na jakość życia w miejskiej codzienności – od przestrzeni publicznych, przez relacje sąsiedzkie, po tempo życia i „ludzką skalę” miasta.
💬 MIASTOrozmowy to nowy cykl otwartych debat, który powstał we współpracy z @wgseigp. Celem jest stworzenie miejsca spotkań mieszkańców, badaczy, praktyków i osób zaangażowanych w sprawy miejskie – na równych prawach i bez barier. Raz w miesiącu będziemy rozmawiać o tym, jak zmienia się miasto, jak chcemy w nim żyć i co realnie decyduje o jakości codzienności.
Cieszymy się z frekwencji, zaangażowania i różnorodnych perspektyw – dokładnie o takie rozmowy nam chodzi!
To dopiero początek.
W kolejnych miesiącach poruszymy m.in. tematy:
